PROJECTS WE'VE WORKED ON:
William Baker Neighbourhood
This project involved the asbestos abatement and demolition of 81 former military single-family dwellings at the former Downsview Army Base. All asbestos was removed from each house following type 2 & 3 removal procedures. The houses underwent demolition, the neighbourhood's utility services were removed, and the basement spaces were backfilled and compacted. Subsequently, topsoil was distributed, the ground was terra-seeded, and the area was transformed into a park-like environment, priming it for the upcoming redevelopment phase.
Alexandra Park
Abatement, demolition and site remediation of over 100,000 SF of 5 multi-story housing complexes. Site removals included all structures, below-grade foundations/footings, trees, site services including duct banks and vaults, and remediation of impacted soils.
FIRGrove Crescent
The project included asbestos abatement and the demolition of 12 buildings, which included residences, parking structures, a day care center, a community center, and a swimming pool. Additionally, it involved the processing and disposal of all construction and debris waste, as well as the recycling of all scrap steel.
